- Which emergency work order takes priority?
- Are keys, parts, and vendor access ready?
- Who covers the on-call handoff?
Privacy and safety boundary
Use unit or work-order codes. Keep resident names, access details, and accommodation or health information in the approved property system.
When this lightweight board is no longer enough
Move to a CMMS or property platform when you need asset histories, preventive maintenance, inventory, resident communications, or vendor billing.
Recordkeeping note
The U.S. Department of Labor allows employers to choose a timekeeping method, provided required records are complete and accurate. Check-in timestamps can help reconstruct events, but they do not calculate compensable time, overtime, travel time, or every record an employer may need. Review DOL Fact Sheet #21 and applicable state and local rules.
